First Aid Training Courses for Childcare, Nurseries & Education establishments

Most people attend antenatal classes learning about what will be a relatively short period of their lives.  However, what happens after they bring the child home and they have the responsibility to care for them for the next 18 years?  They spend very little time preparing for that next part and often rely upon childminders, nannies, nurseries, pre-school and after school clubs to provide essential care when they have to return to work.

SCHOOLS TRAINING DAYS

School Training days are an excellent way to train many teachers and not rely just on qualified First aiders.

FUNDRAISING WORKSHOPS

We also provide First Aid courses for groups, PTA's, nurseries and schools.  Earn a donation from profits for your group depending upon how many participants sign up for the Workshop.   Bespoke courses can be designed depending upon needs.  Contact us for further information.

PARENTS & GOVERNORS EVENINGS

Schools can raise funds in a useful way.  The H Club will give back a proportion of profits raised from workshops, talks or courses for your parents, by holding a class you open your doors to new people and show them and your parents that you care about First Aid, Health & Wellbeing at your School or Nursery and away from it.  Very easy to organise, this offers a new and valuable service.  Contact us using the form below.

The H Club's courses are informative and stimulating.  We cover a wide range of subjects at times scheduled around when working childcare providers can manage to attend.  Our take home materials will provide further information and can be used to refresh your knowledge at any time.  We endeavour to utilise venues that are informal yet practical.  Class sizes are limited so that there is always plenty of opportunity to repeat practical skills and engage in open discussion with other local childcare providers.

PAEDIATRIC FIRST AID AND CARE FOR CHILDREN COURSES

The H Club offers the Care for Children Courses using flexible learning resources to cover CPR, AED and First Aid training.  They teach how to provide emergency care for injured or ill infants and children.  You'll learn the types of medical emergencies children face and how they differ from adult conditions.  The courses also address:
  • The emotional aspects of caring for children
  • Secondary care for children
  • Preventing common injuries and illnesses in children
    Prevent

The Care for Children course includes both CPR and first aid skills.  The Primary care portion of the course prepares you to render aid to an infant or child with a life-threatening emergency such as choking or cardiac arrest.   Secondary care focuses on developing secondary patient care skills and building your confidence to give first aid to an infant or child in need.  The Care for Children course content is based on guidelines from the Paediatric Working Group of ILCOR

Our Care for Children courses include 12hr Peadiatric First Aid, 6hr First Aid for Nannies and we also offer a range of Schools First Aid courses.
