AID FOR THE WORKPLACE Approved
by the Health and Safety Executive (GB) for the purposes of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 Act
Our range of First Aid at Work courses meet standards for workplace requirements in Great
Britain. They include full first certifications for Appointed Persons, Emergency First Aiders or Workplace First Aiders
as well as refresher and requalification courses. We also have course options for Northern Ireland.
The Primary Care (Basic Life Support), Secondary Care (Secondary aid for Illness & Injury) and
Paediatric Care for Children courses are also internationally recognised and, due to the flexibility of the system of training,
different learning approaches may be used to meet workplace requirements for course content and duration.
PAEDIATRIC
FIRST AID AND CARE FOR CHILDREN COURSES
The
H Club offers the Care for Children Courses using flexible learning resources to cover CPR, AED and First Aid training.
They teach how to provide emergency care for injured or ill infants and children. You'll learn the types of medical
emergencies children face and how they differ from adult conditions. The courses also address: The emotional aspects of caring for children
Secondary care for children
Preventing common injuries and illnesses in children
Prevent
The Care for Children course includes both CPR and first aid skills. The Primary care
portion of the course prepares you to render aid to an infant or child with a life-threatening emergency such as choking or
cardiac arrest. Secondary care focuses on developing secondary patient care skills and building your confidence
to give first aid to an infant or child in need. The Care for Children course content is based on guidelines from the
Paediatric Working Group of ILCOR

Children courses include 12hr Peadiatric FIrst Aid, 6hr First Aid for Nannies and Schools First Aid courses.
